  • April 17, 2018

Hey you! Are you looking for a cute fun project?  These awesome DIY custom key chains are exactly that! You can use shrink ink for just about anything, today we decided to make some a few summer/vacation shrink with ink to brighten up your day! They are so easy and inexpensive to make, if you are as excited as I am keep reading !

Here is what you will need:

  1.  The first thing you want to do is to print out what you want your key chain to be. I went to All free and found the ones that I end up using for this craft!
  2. The second thing you want to do is to print your design on an inkjet printer.
  3. Cut out your design in however shape you want!
  4. Do not forget to hole punch your shrink with ink before you put it in the oven!
  5. The next step is you are going to want to preheat your oven and follow the directions located on the NuFun Activities package for Shrink ink.
  6. Once in the oven, if it starts to fold over on each other- LEAVE IT IN THE OVEN– do not try and take it out to fix it. It will fix itself in the oven if you continue to let it bake. {see picture for example}
  7. {Optional Step} After your shrink has cooled down you are then going to want to use Mod Podge: dimensional magic to be able to get that shiny effect to your key chain.
  8. You will have to let the Mod Podge dry– I left mine over night to make sure they would turn out
  9. The last step is to put your keychain on the Shrink with Ink and WOOHOO you have yourself a new key chain to show off to all of your friends and family.
